The Turtle Hospital
The Turtle Hospital is a Florida Keys institution dedicated to the rehabilitation of injured sea turtles. Since 1986, the Turtle Hospital has rescued and cared for hundreds of injured sea turtles, with the mission to return them to their natural habitat. Through its educational programs, the Turtle Hospital works with schools and groups with its outreach. The Turtle Hospital also works with colleges and universities providing them valuable research and aid in their studies of sea turtles. The Turtle Hospital is also active in environmental legislation to make our waters and beaches safe for sea turtles. The Turtle Hospital is located in Marathon at Mile Marker 48.5 Bayside and offers guided tours of their facility to the public every day of the week. Reef Relief
Reef Relief has been preserving and protecting the living coral reef ecosystems of the Florida Keys since 1987 starting with the installation of mooring buoys in Key West.
